Specimen Collections

Specimen collections are available through nine TASC operated collection sites across Arizona and hundreds of contracted collection facilities nationwide. TASC adheres to high standards in our specimen collection and testing procedures for criminal justice agencies as well as our private accounts. We utilize visual observation procedures for all criminal justice sample collection processes at all TASC facilities. Non-visual specimen collections are authenticated with specimen temperature validation and subsequent laboratory specimen integrity tests to detect possible sample tampering. Job site field collections are also available.

TASC also employs Drug & Alcohol Testing Association (DATIA) collection specialists for specimen collections mandated by federal Department of Transportation (DOT/FAA).

Legal accountability is documented by strict chain-of-custody procedures, and adherence to federal and state requirements for confidentiality is ensured. Customized chain-of-custody and referral forms are available and modified to best suit your needs.
