Mental Health Counseling
TASC’s treatment philosophy for mental health counseling is to provide the opportunity for the client/client to progress to the important point of a lifestyle change by learning new ways to deal with the circumstances impinging on his/her mental functioning and to learn more effective ways of coping with these issues. Therapy focuses on the attainment of the client's individual treatment plan goals and in aiding the individual to get "unstuck" in his/her negative thought and behavior patterns. Specific attention focuses on each individual's personal problems and the resolution of these, in order to affect positive change and prosocial behavior.
