TASC
provides Counseling, Substance Abuse Evaluations, Substance
Abuse Screening (Urinalysis Testing), Basic Physical Supervision,
Therapeutic Physical Supervision, and Exchange Supervision
according to procedural guidelines set forth by Expedited
Services, the Family Support Center and Maricopa County Superior
Court.
TASC’s
Counseling Services include individual, couples, family, and
group counseling and is provided to address the psychological
and/or relationship issues, including substance abuse, that
may be adversely impacting familial visitation.
TASC’s Substance Abuse Evaluations consist of a comprehensive
biopsychosocial
interview and the administration and scoring of two standardized
assessment tools, the SASSI (Substance Abuse Subtle Screening
Inventory)-3 and the MAST (Michigan Alcohol Screening Inventory).
Evaluation results and an individualized treatment plan are
submitted to the case supervisor to aid the case supervisor
in her/his authorization of a treatment course.
TASC
provides a supervisor to oversee the entire visit between
parent(s) and child(ren) in its Basic Physical Supervision
services to ensure the child(ren)’s well-being. TASC’s
supervisor does not intervene in the parent-child relationship
unless the condition of the visit is violated. This service
is provided to ensure the safety of the child(ren), to stop
any allegations against the party or to maintain the relationship
until an evaluation can be completed and presented to the
Court.
TASC
provides a supervisor/therapist to oversee the entire visit
between parent(s) and child(ren) in its Therapeutic Physical
Supervision services. TASC’s supervisor actively intervenes
in the parent/child interactions, either to establish a relationship
or to address problems identified in the parent/child relationship.
TASC’s
Exchange Supervision services are provided for those who demonstrate
an inability to restrain from hostilities in the presence of
their child(ren) or to maintain a reliable transfer time. TASC’s
supervisors provide a neutral site where the arrival, departure
and transfer of the child(ren)can be completed safely and with
minimal disruption to child(ren). |
